The Election Commission of India has issued revised dates for the ongoing Special Intensive Revision in the north Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.
As per the revised schedule, the draft publication of the electoral roll will now take place on January 6, 2026.
Earlier, the draft electoral roll was scheduled to be published on December 31, 2025.
The period for receiving claims and objections will remain open from January 6 to February 6, 2026.
The final publication of Uttar Pradesh’s electoral roll will be carried out on March 6.
The SIR process concluded in the state on December 26. All enumeration forms have been received and digitised.
